Day 2 started with an early morning paint session. I got out of bed and didn’t eat breakfast until I was finished with the two paintings. That is dedication!
Yesterday I got to think about how amazing it feels to create something, anything. I feel like my creativity was stuck for a long time and now I can release it daily and put it into something tangible, something I can touch and others can see and it makes me truly happy. When I work as a photographer I’m always dependend on my photography subject, the people I photograph and the people I work with, but when I paint I’m by myself and can do what I want to do and how I want to do it.
At the moment I’m mostly just trying to think about color schemes I want to explore and I have million things in my mind I want to paint. I can’t seem to get it on canvas fast enough, but I guess that’s okay because I shouldn’t get rid of all my inspiration too soon.
I looove cadmium yellow!
Working with watercolor-like acrylic washes on canvas and dabbing with paper tissues to get a more uneven color distribution.
See your tomorrow,
