Daily Painting 006 – Spring Garden

Today’s daily painting process was actually filmed, but I still need a few more days to edit the video material. It will be online here in this blog post or maybe I just make a new one when the video is ready to be uploaded.

I tried to incorporate some green for once and work with lighter colors, but in the end I needed a contrast back in the paintings and added some brush strokes of cadmium red deep. Those two paintings work together as a diptych or each on it’s own.

Painting soundtrack of the day My phone battery was out of charge – quiet time again.
Thing’s I’ve learned It’s very hard for me to work with light colors alone.
New Things I’ve tried Working on a matching pair of paintings simultaneously.
