Daily Painting 014 – Vulcano

Sometimes you have days when you paint something, and then you kind of like it, but the next day you don’t like it and so on and on. This one I painted over 3 times in the course of 2 days until I was finally satisfied with it.

This painting was made with acrylics and some oil pastels again. I really love that color dripping at the moment and the paintings for tomorrow and the day after will have even more of those. I love those happy accidents when the paint drips the way you want to, or just being able to embrace the failure 😀 Makes the painting so much more dynamic.

Thing’s I’ve learned If you don’t like it, just go over it again and again, it can only get better.
New Things I’ve tried New way of doodling with the oil pastels, just exploring some different shapes.
